External assessment and Competitive exams

We encourage the students to participate in ASSEST, SOF & EDUHEAL examination which is conducted as an annual feature. It is playing a great role in creating highly competitive young minds. It is an educational initiative based on detailed research and formidable database of student learning. By participating in Olympiads, students will develop skills and improve their aptitude which certainly help them in long run.

Moral education and GK/MS

At Shanthinikethana, we promote wholistic development of the students and give equal importance to develop their ethical, social, and moral skills. These classes help students develop values and attitudes that motivate them to do the right thing. It also helps them develop social skills and learn how to behave in different situations. We want our students to become more compassionate, responsible, and morally upright individuals who contribute positively to society.

Atal Tinkering Lab

ATL is a workspace where young minds can give shape to their ideas through hands on do-it-yourself mode; and learn innovation skills. Young children will get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). ATL contains educational and learning ‘do it yourself’ kits and equipment on – science, electronics, robotics, open-source microcontroller boards, sensors and 3D printers and computers.

Abacus, Vedic Mental Maths

Abacus promotes a stress-free way of learning math concepts which build confidence, enhances problem-solving abilities with logical reasoning. It boosts self-confidence and self-esteem and strengthens mental skills like visualization and memory.

Co-curricular activities

Yoga, Taekwondo, Music and physical education are all part of our curriculum to enhance cognitive ability in children, helps in personality and behavioral development and relieves stress.
Scouts and Guides helps young people develop life skills, self-confidence, and ethics that will be useful in their academic and professional lives.

Outdoor visits and in-house activities

Outdoor visits and awareness programs in campus – Apart from annual picnics, our students participate in various interschool competitions, go on awareness drive and visit various venues like VITM, AEMD, chitrakala parishad etc. (Atomic energy and minerals department) to consolidate knowledge gained in school through experiences, and get inspired.
Interact – rotary club initiative Interact is a Rotary International service club for young people ages 12–18 that helps them develop leadership skills and make a difference in their community

Multiple Intelligence Activities

Involving more than one skill to get profited from experience. Adoption of MI based classroom teaching to make the matter more understandable and to involve compulsory participation of every student. Using of concept map and mind map.

THE SCHOOL GATE OPENS AT 8.40 AM
